Beginning May 1, 2010, the State of Michigan has prohibited smoking in public areas, including restaurants and bars. The Townsend Hotel, Rugby Grille and Corner Bar are included in this new law, designed to protect employees, patrons and citizens from the hazards of secondhand smoke.
